We just need a singer/guitarist who is capable, similar in age, and reliable. As far as vocal capabilities, please know how to carry a tune well. We're not looking for someone with unworldly range like Freddie Mercury or Steve Perry, but please have an ear for music and at least some range. We like singers who have simple, honest, soulful voices. No ridiculous theatrics. If you can carry a tune well, and you know how to properly suit the song with your voice, then cool. If you sound the exact same singing every song and have no creative inclination as to how to make the song interesting, not so cool. As far as guitar skills, you don't need to be SRV, but you should be able to jam. Know your chords, scales, keys...the basics.
